Course Contents
- Injuries and causes, legislation (Health and Safety at Work etc 1974, Manual Handling Regulation 1992), risk assessment, kinetic method of lifting, talk through then demonstration, forms of mechanical assistance, team lifting, practical lifts, assessment paper
Course Outcomes
On completion of the course your candidate will be able to:
- Lift safely
- Carry out risk assessments before lifting when required
