Safety Management Training

Qualifying your safety management team has never been so important. In these days of accountability, HSE investigations and corporate manslaughter bills, it is imperative that all of your managers and supervisory staff are fully versed in the latest legislation and Health & Safety practice.

You need to be 100% confident that your people are equipped not only to manage risk on site or in the workplace but also to manage the people in their charge to ensure everyone takes responsibility for health and safety in your organisation.

Our range of Health and Safety Management courses provides you with all you need to ensure your managers and supervisors are best equipped.

Our Safety Management courses include:

Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It’s designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams. The flexible new high impact programme covers all the main health and safety issues, and includes a session tackling the environment too.

Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Including:

SMSTS is a five day course that can be taken on a 1 day a week attendance or as a 5 day block attendance. It trains each individual in the essential points of Health and Safety and shows them how to measure Health and Safety performance on their own site. The interactive method of delivery of the course allows for discussion of the subject areas together with the development of risk assessments, methods statements and health and safety plans for construction activities. At the end of the course, each individual has to pass a multiple choice test which qualifies them for the Construction Site Managers Safety Certificate.

This course is an ideal introduction for obtaining a basic understanding of health and safety duties and responsibilities for junior management and upon successful completion of this course a natural progression would be the five day Site Management Training Scheme (SMSTS) course.

Existing site managers, agents, surveyors and persons holding positions of managerial control should attend The Site Management Training Scheme (SMSTS) five day course.
