Rand Training are now delivering PASMA Training.
Course start date: 10 Oct 2011 (Please see below for booking details)
PASMA stands for “Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association”
and is the HSE recognised body for training in mobile aluminium access scaffold
towers.
PASMA training is a one day course and successful delegates will get training
in the safe use of erecting, dismantling and the safe use of tower scaffolding.
Training consists of theory based classroom style training and practical erection
and dismantling of a mobile access aluminium tower.
Successful completion confirms that delegates have not only taken the PASMA training
course but also completed the necessary high standards required of every candidate.
The PASMA course is aimed at people within organisations that work with Mobile
Access Towers whether alloy or fibreglass. The whole purpose of PASMA training
is to create a good mix of classroom based theory with practical hands-on training.
PASMA raises the awareness of common hazards and the necessary precautions that
must be taken when using Mobile Access Towers. The PASMA course instructs delegates
on the correct inspection methods, methods of assembly and the correct procedures
for repositioning and dismantling, including the legal implications of neglect.
Maximum delegate numbers per course are restricted to 12 persons
